Conference Call for Speakers

The Northeast Resource Recovery Association (NRRA) Annual Recycling Conference highlights new, engaging, and current recycling and solid waste management topics and practices that help transfer stations, recycling centers, and municipalities manage their recycling facilities in environmentally and economically sound ways.

We’re seeking speakers and presenters who would like to share their experience and insight at the upcoming Annual Recycling Conference & Expo!

Submission deadline is Wednesday, February 5, 2025.

For over forty years, NRRA’s Annual Recycling Conference & Expo has been the premier conference focused exclusively on municipal recycling and waste reduction in the Northeast. Hundreds of attendees, exhibitors, speakers, and sponsors convene to discuss the tools and skills necessary to build thriving municipal recycling and waste reduction programs. Held at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord, NH, this year’s conference will be held May 19-20, 2025

Conference workshops run for one hour, with 15-20 minutes of that time saved for Q&A. Presentation rooms include a podium, microphone, and presentation screen. You're welcome to bring handouts and to make the workshop as interactive as you wish.

Do you have a recycling or solid waste management success story or expertise to share that:

  • Addresses specific recyclables. We are specifically looking for presentations on food waste & composting, C&D and bulky waste, hard to recycle items, household hazardous waste, used oil, plastic, batteries, electronics, glass, or municipal solid waste (MSW).

  • Tackles Operations & Management. Workshops that address policies (local, state, or federal), facility operations, budgeting tips and tricks, and how to apply for and manage grants will be prioritized.

  • Brings on-the-ground experience. Share your experience related to public education, customer relations, and safety.

To propose a session, please complete this form or submit your proposal below, by Wednesday, February 5, 2025.

Session proposals will be reviewed by NRRA’s Conference Planning Committee, which will notify you by the end of February regarding session approval and next steps. Not all proposals will be accepted. Sales pitches will not be accepted.
